Even the newest Cybertruck was subject to recall
The US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced a recall of nearly 2.2 million Tesla vehicles produced between 2012 and 2024.
The reason is not the most common: the font of the inscriptions on the dashboard informing about a malfunction of the brake and anti-lock systems, as well as parking sensors, is too small. This can make it difficult to read important information.
A total of 2 193,869 vehicles will be recalled – that's almost every Tesla sold in the US. On the list – Model S 2012-2023, Model 3 2017-2023, Model X 2016-2024 and Model Y 2019-2024. And also Tesla Cybertruck – and for «cyberpickup» This is the first review in its short history.
Owners of all these cars do not need to visit the dealer – Tesla will fix the problem with an over-the-air update.
