The update will be released in June
Tesla CEO Elon Musk recently announced the launch date for the Cybertruck pickup's Fully Self-Driving (FSD) feature.
Cybertruck was released late last year, but until now the vehicle did not support the popular feature. Now the billionaire has said that Tesla will begin introducing this feature into cars «at the end of June».
Musk said that FSD v12.4 will undergo internal testing this weekend, with Tesla starting to recruit testers from real owners next week. He said that this version will bring significant improvements to the autopilot.
Cybertruck will not receive FSD v12.4, but will be directly upgraded to v12.5. Musk said: “Version 12.5 will be released at the end of June. It will significantly reduce the need for driver intervention».
A previously modified Tesla Model 3 was spotted in Palo Alto, California. It lost the traditional side mirrors and also received a new camera system.
As it became known, Tesla produces many more cars than it can sell: they filled the parking lots of factories, shopping centers and airports. We also reported that the company is rehiring people it previously expelled from the team involved in the Supercharger network of charging stations.
