Telegram CEO Pavel Durov said that he uses the Samsung Galaxy A52 smartphone in over the past two years.
According to him, he chose this smartphone because it is “one of the most widely used phones among Telegram users” and he “wanted to understand their experience in order to serve them better.” However, not everything turned out well with this model, and the facts discovered by Durov may greatly upset the owners of the Galaxy A52.
In his message, Pavel Durov said that the back panel of his Galaxy A52 separated from the smartphone and published a corresponding photo. According to him, the reason for this behavior of the phone was the heat in Dubai.
“My phone was “unblocked” by the Dubai heat,” wrote Durov.
It is really very hot in Dubai. However, the build quality of the smartphone should be good enough so that it does not open up in such heat. Unfortunately, the Galaxy A52 did not survive these high temperature tests. However, the photo does not show the swelling of the battery. After peeling off the back panel, the device did not explode or catch fire.
Durov's publication indicates that the Galaxy A52, which was one of the best-selling smartphones, turned out to be not as good as many users thought. Now the Telegram CEO will have to switch to a new phone.
