Lenovo decided to enter the MoTD (Mobile on Desktop) market. We are talking about desktop computers based on mobile processors. This segment has been actively developing recently, as mobile CPUs have become much more powerful, and the older lines from AMD and Intel are technically no different from desktop ones.
Intel has given up and is asking motherboard manufacturers to severely limit all modern Core i9 CPUs
The Lenovo Legion Blade 7000K is equipped with 14th generation Intel Core HX processors, which offer the same number of cores as comparable desktop CPUs. At the same time, mobile versions are still more limited in frequencies and power limits, which can be very useful given the problems with top-end desktop Core i9.
The PC will also offer up to 192 GB of RAM, up to 4 TB SSD and unnamed Nvidia graphics cards. That is, these are gaming PCs, although this is already clear from the use of the Legion brand.
No other details yet. Let us remind you that today we learned details about the future Intel Arrow Lake-S processors. In particular, there will supposedly be a lot of 35-watt models in the line.
