Surprisingly, one of the most affordable Foresters in Russia is a hybrid
If in February the most affordable Subaru Forester in Russia cost 3.2 million rubles, now the most affordable version of the car is offered for 2.9 million rubles. This is how much a dealer from Krasnoyarsk is asking for an SUV, and we are not talking about a regular petrol Forester, but about a hybrid.
And although this is not a plug-in hybrid, nevertheless, such a car is more economical than a purely gasoline one. The power plant consists of a 2.0-liter 150-horsepower gasoline engine and an electric motor with a capacity of 17 hp, integrated into the Lineatronic CVT. The drive is, of course, full.
Interestingly, the cheapest Forester with a simple naturally aspirated 2.0-liter engine is much more expensive — 4.5 million rubles. A seller from Anapa valued the car at this amount. At the same time, a car with a 1.8-liter 177-horsepower engine in Vladivostok costs only 3.2 million rubles. In general, pricing is spontaneous and depends, first of all, on the dealer or seller, and not on any market laws.
