Communicating with representatives of the gaming industry at the Game Developers Conference, GamesIndustry.biz editor-in-chief Christopher Dring learned that not all developers see the point in the PlayStation 5 Pro console.
< p>“Frankly speaking, I haven’t met a single person who understands why it [PS5 Pro] is needed at all. The developers don't see the point in it. They don't even really take advantage of all the features of the PlayStation 5.” ,” says Dring. on the wave of popularity of 4K TVs. The PS5 Pro makes little sense right now and it's unlikely that players will rush out to buy a new console.
“This generation doesn't seem to have even started, let alone needs updated consoles” he added.
