If there is almost no difference with the newest Subaru Forester 2025, then why pay more?
The American office of Subaru published car sales statistics in March of this year, and it turned out that the retiring fifth-generation Forester turned out to be a hit: car sales soared by 105% in annual terms! During the first quarter, 48 546 Forester — 59.7% more than in the first quarter of 2023.
For comparison, based on sales results in the first quarter, only one Subaru model showed an increase in sales in annual terms: Outback added only 7.5%, all other models (Ascent, BRZ, Crosstrek, Impreza, Legacy, Solterra , WRX) dropped by 7.6-42.1%.
Such an impressive increase in sales of the retiring model can be explained by the fact that the new sixth-generation Forester has noticeably increased in price, but the equipment, if it has become better, is not much, and the units have not changed at all. Therefore, there is little point in overpaying for a new product.
