CPU expected in autumn
It looks like the launch of the new generation of AMD Ryzen processors is indeed just around the corner. At the very least, it turns out that BIOS versions released earlier this month for a number of motherboards already support the upcoming CPUs.
This applies at least to Asus and MSI boards on 600 series chipsets. It is likely that other manufacturers have already released BIOS with support for new CPUs, but they just haven’t discovered it yet.
The BIOS description does not indicate the name, but all the latest data suggests that the new line will be called Ryzen 9000.
Recall that the new processors will switch to the Zen 5 architecture, which is credited with a huge increase in performance relative to Zen 4. At the same time, the number of cores will not increase, that is, we will get a maximum of 16-core models. < /p>
