Chinese smartphone manufacturer Blackview introduced a budget model Oscal Modern 8 based on the Unisoc T616 SoC, which costs $96.
The new Oscal Modern 8 runs DokeOS 4.0 based on Android 13 operating system. It features a 6.75-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. The display can reach a maximum brightness of 450 cd/m2 and a display refresh rate of 90 Hz.
The smartphone is equipped with a 50 MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 rear camera and an 8 MP Samsung ISOCELL 4H7 front camera. The smartphone received a 6000 mAh battery with support for 18 W fast charging. This allows you to use your smartphone in games for up to 8 hours without recharging, and in standby mode — up to 744 hours.
The smartphone does not support NFC and 5G. Buyers have three options available: Ash Grey, Ripple Blue and Wisteria Purple.
A version with 8/128 GB is offered for $93, and a version with 256 GB of flash memory costs $108.
