43, 50, 55 and 65 inches
Sony has unveiled its Bravia 2 line of TVs, which run Google TV and feature 4K Ultra HD displays.
The new lineup includes the 65-inch S25, aimed at gamers, and the basic 43-inch S20. The line also includes models with a diagonal of 50 and 55 inches.
The Bravia 2 series uses the X1 image processor, which, according to the manufacturer, “improves image quality, makes colors more vibrant and increases clarity thanks to Live Color and 4K X-Reality PRO technologies.” The processor also smoothes motion in fast scenes using Motionflow XR technology. For gamers, there is an automatic low latency mode and automatic HDR tone mapping.
The series is equipped with 20-watt speakers with Dolby Audio support. With Google TV, users can access more than 10,000 apps and more than 700,000 movies and TV shows. There is also support for Apple Home Kit and AirPlay.
The TV comes with a voice-activated remote control that works with Google Assistant, making it easy to find content.
The top version costs $2,300, prices for the basic versions have not yet been announced.
