Official deliveries of MG cars to Russia have started
As Chinese Automobiles writes, Russian dealers have begun to receive cars of the MG brand (it belongs to SIAC). So, a dealer from St. Petersburg already has two models in stock – the large MG 7 liftback and the MG 4 EV electric hatchback, and soon the MG 5 sedan and the One crossover will be added to them.
The MG 7 is a large car, comparable to the Skoda Superb: dimensions are 4884 x 1889 x 1447 mm, with a wheelbase of 2778 mm. For comparison, the length and wheelbase of the Superb are 4861 and 2841 mm.
The basic version of the car has a 1.5-liter turbo engine with a power of 188 hp, combined with a 7-speed “robot”, but the top version has a 2.0-liter 261-horsepower engine and a classic 9-speed “automatic”.
In the base (the package is called Beauty) the MG 7 has 18-inch alloy wheels, LED lighting, leather interior, climate control (single-zone), cruise control, all-round viewing system, digital instrument panel with a 10.25-inch screen and a media system with 12.3-inch screen and 6 speakers, light sensor.
The top-end Trophy+ version includes a panoramic roof with sunroof, Nappa leather seat trim, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and Bose acoustics with 14 speakers. Interestingly, the Trophy+ version also has an E-LSD limited slip differential.
At the moment, only the price of the basic version of MG 7 is known, it is 3.685 million rubles.
MG 4 EV, based on its dimensions, is a compact car: 4287 x 1836 x 1516 mm. But the wheelbase is an impressive 2705 mm.
In the basic version, the Ultimate Edition has an electric motor on the rear axle (power 170 hp) and a traction battery with a capacity of 51 kWh (power reserve – up to 425 km). The Ultimate Edition has a more powerful option, with a 204-horsepower engine. At the same time, the capacity of the traction battery is also larger – 64 kWh (power reserve – up to 520 km). At the top of the range is the Xpower Edition AWD with 428 hp. The capacity of the traction battery is the same 64 kWh, the range is 460 km.
MG 4 EV options include adaptive cruise control, climate control, a number of driver assistance systems, heated front seats, a media system with 6 speakers and a 10.25-inch screen, and a digital instrument panel. Here, too, only the price of the basic version is known – 4.2 million rubles.
