Samsung is working on a 2nm process technology, and the company wants to be the first to release such chips, surpassing TSMC. As gizmochina writes, the company received the first order for the production of 2nm chips from the Japanese company Preferred Networks (PFN).

In addition, information has emerged that the South Korean company has already launched a project to produce a chip codenamed Tethys using a 2nm process technology, which will eventually appear on the market under the Exynos brand. Samsung is serious about competing with Qualcomm and MediaTek. For now, Samsung is reportedly keeping its lineup of foldable devices powered by Qualcomm chips.
