The flagships of Samsung and Honor received advanced and ultra-compact Micron UFS 4.0

At the recently concluded MWC 2024, Micron officially unveiled its latest UFS 4.0 memory. And, as it turned out, it was this memory that Samsung and Honor chose to install in their flagships Galaxy S24 and Honor Magic6 Pro, respectively.
The peculiarity of the new Micron UFS 4.0 memory is the compactness of the module — dimensions are only 9 x 13 mm. This is one of the most compact chips, and the 232-layer NAND flash memory with a volumetric layout made it possible to make it so. Micron says that with sequential read and write speeds of 4,300 and 4,000 MB/s, respectively, the new memory is ideal for AI tasks — As you know, both Samsung and Honor have focused on this.
