He added that China shipped about 900 thousand cars to Russia last year, while deliveries did not fall at all in 2024: «In the first quarter, trade in goods amounted to $56.68 billion , an increase of 5.2% compared to the same period last year».
Chinese car exports to Russia are growing steadily. Cars of Chinese brands are increasingly popular among Russian consumers due to their excellent quality and the advantage associated with the price/quality ratio.
