Sony's PlayStation policy on PC has recently raised more and more questions. The release of Ghost of Tsushima turns out to be very peculiar
Recently, one of the trading platforms returned money for pre-orders of Ghost of Tsushima. Then the game was withdrawn from sale on Steam – in the same 170+ regions where the co-op hit Helldivers 2 is no longer sold due to the lack of official support for PlayStation Network services. The Valve service has issued an automatic refund.
The developers of Ghost of Tsushima themselves from Sucker Punch Productions previously said that a connection to PSN will only be required for multiplayer content, and single-player play will be free available to all customers. However, the game was still stopped selling in countries without PSN.
There are reports that other stores have begun to return money for Ghost of Tsushima, including the Epic Games Store .
Currently the number of countries where you can buy Ghost of Tsushima on PC on Steam is about 69. Judging by recently received data from Steam support, the withdrawal of Helldivers 2 and Ghost of Tsushima from sale is a decision of Sony itself.
