Haval Jolion may soon become the absolute leader in the Russian car market

Autostat provided data on car sales in Russia in the 47th week of 2023, and there is one very interesting point: Haval Jolion took the lead. 2,005 of these crossovers were sold in a week.

Accordingly, the Lada Granta sedan lost its leadership – 1,570 units were sold in a week. True, if we take into account sales of Granta in both types of bodies, then this model will be ahead: in addition to sedans, 1,069 liftbacks were also sold during the week. But the gap between Granta and Jolion is small, and the Chinese crossover has every chance of becoming the undisputed market leader.

Lada Vesta is in third place with 1,459 units sold. The top 5 also included Lada Niva Travel and Lada Niva Legend with a result of 1057 and 1054 cars sold. Well, the top 10 also includes the recently cheaper Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max (877 units), Geely Coolray (859 units), the new hit Chery Tiggo 4 Pro (785 units) and Geely Monjaro (734 units).
