And the RX 7000 line is more meager

Some graphics cards in the Radeon RX 6000 line still remain the best-in-class choice in terms of price and performance, based on numerous tests. However, recently such adapters have begun to disappear from sale.

According to Tom's Hardware, supplies of older RX 6000 video cards have dried up. In particular, the Radeon RX 6950 XT and RX 6900 XT are now almost impossible to find for $600–650, and the RX 6800 XT can only be found for around $560. RX 6800 — The only remaining high-end adapter that is still sold at competitive prices. The authors are talking about the US market, but the situation in the European market is not much different. The RX 6900 XT almost everywhere costs more than 700 euros, and the RX 6950 XT has only one offer on the entire Computerbase aggregator for 640 euros, and the rest are more expensive than 960 euros. Of course, in the second case we are talking about old prices that sellers do not want to reduce, but for that kind of money there are unlikely to be buyers. On the same aggregator there are three variants of the RX 6800 XT at a price of 530-585 euros, and the rest are more expensive than 1000 euros! As for the RX 6800, there is only one offer from XFX at a price of 385 euros, and the rest are too expensive.& ;nbsp;

In fact, the situation is approximately the same with the lower-end RX 6000 cards. The RX 6650 XT, which has no competitors in its price, is available in a couple of offers for 240-250 euros, while the rest are already more than 300 euros. The RX 6750 XT starts at 350 euros, but there are only a couple of options under 400 euros. And in general, there are fewer and fewer offers on Computerbase for old AMD cards, and at normal prices this is generally the minimum.

The problem is that in the RX 7000 line there is a direct replacement for not all RX 6000 models. Moreover, if in the case of switching from RTX 30 to RTX 40, buyers receive reduced power consumption and support for DLSS 3, then The RX 7000 does not offer any such advantages relative to the RX 6000.
