Qualcomm managed to make the Snapdragon X Elite SoC at the level of the Core i7-13800H and not much slower than the Apple M2 Pro

New platform will be released this year

The Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite single-chip system has been tested in a benchmark, which allows us to compare it with conventional AMD and Intel processors.

In Geekbench 6, this SoC scores 2574 points in single-threaded mode and 12,562 — in multi-threaded.

In the first case, this is at the level of the Apple M2 and Core i5-13600H, but multi-threaded performance is more important, and here the new Qualcomm product can compete with the eight-core Ryzen 7 7745HX and the 14-core Core i7-13800H, although slightly behind both. But the Apple M2 is far behind, but the M2 Pro is not so far away.

Recall that Snapdragon X Elite has a 12-core CPU (Geekbench in this case evaluates only the processor part). The test sample operated in 28 W mode with a frequency of 4 GHz, which is a kind of average indicator. The CPU configuration includes eight large and four small cores.

Of course, Geekbench tests are quite synthetic, and in this case this is especially important, since the Snapdragon X Elite is created for PCs with Windows and a lot will depend on optimizing the software for such Arm platforms.
