«Driving» published a video dedicated to the new Lada e-Niva. It allows you to get a holistic impression of the equipment and characteristics of the car.
As Maxim Kadakov, editor-in-chief of «Za Rulem», says in the video, the electric Niva received completely original headlights, which no other VAZ car has. And these headlights will migrate to the regular Niva Travel with a gasoline engine. The same applies to the new bumper.
The traction battery installed in the trunk took up a lot of space in the lower part: the already small trunk became even smaller. The interior has been improved in terms of finishing and materials, the driving mode control unit and the digital dashboard are borrowed from the electric Lada Largus.
There has been no decision to launch the Lada e-Niva into mass production. Let us remind you that the car is equipped with a motor with a peak power of 163 hp, and the maximum power reserve — only 175 km.
