Skoda left the Kazakhstan market in 2021, and three years later decided to start assembling its cars in the country. As Autopotok writes, today there are plans to supply cars assembled in Kazakhstan to the domestic market of the republic. There is no talk about export yet.

In addition, after April 1, taking into account the new duties and excise taxes that are added to the recycling fee, the supply of cars from Kazakhstan to Russia is no longer as profitable as before.
