There will be no fundamental changes in terms of hardware platform architecture

The author of the famous YouTube channel Moore's Law Is Dead revealed the cost of the PlayStation 5 Pro game console. According to him, the version of the console without an optical drive will cost $500, the version with an optical drive – 600 dollars. That is, in comparison with the current PlayStation 5 Slim, the console will rise in price by 11% and 20%, respectively.

But the increase in cost will be offset by higher productivity: it will increase by 30-50%. At the same time, there will be no fundamental changes in the architecture, but the technical process will become thinner (4 nm instead of 6 nm), and frequencies will increase. All this will provide an increase in productivity. According to rumors, the PlayStation 5 Pro will be released next year at least a few months before the release of GTA 6.
