Due to a number of current restrictions, the user experience of PlayStation 5 owners in Russia is very specific. Not everyone is happy with this state of affairs

Sony has introduced a number of restrictions on the operation of the PlayStation Store in Russia. As a result, those who purchased PS5 consoles cannot fully use them unless they find workarounds.

Some enthusiasts have mastered creating accounts for PlayStation consoles in other regions and continue to enjoy games, including “sanctioned” games (which are not formally sold in Russia).

However, there are representatives of the PlayStation community who want to receive compensation and return to normal operation of Sony services in Russia.

Such gamers have already tried to file a lawsuit, but in the end the court rejected it. However, the fight continues and reaches a new level; SHOT noted that the amount of the claim and the number of victims have increased (and more may join):

The court considered the case for a whole year and ultimately denied the upset players access to the Playstation. But their lawyers decided not to stop. They challenged the court’s decision, spent a whole year looking for new victims of the company’s departure and found almost 300 more people. And now the amount of the class action lawsuit against Sony Playstation has increased from 280 million to 3 billion. A new case recently came to court“.
