According to Quto.ru, supplies of «folk» Nissan from China, in particular, we are talking about the Nissan Sylphy sedan, which in China really belongs to inexpensive cars. In Russia, however, the price will be decent: the cost of a car in the top configuration will be approximately 2.85 million rubles.
It is reported that Nissan Sylphy will be supplied to Russia with a sequential hybrid power plant: the front axle wheels in this Sylphy are driven by an electric motor with a power of 136 hp. from the well-known Nissan Leaf in Russia, and the 1.2-liter gasoline engine acts as a generator and serves only to charge the traction battery.
The length of the Nissan Sylphy is 4641 mm, wheelbase — 2712 mm. Based on its characteristics, positioning and equipment, it will be able to replace the previously very popular Hyundai Elantra, Kia Cerato and Skoda Octavia in Russia.
Reorientation of dealers to «Japanese Chinese» instead of «ordinary Chinese» This is explained by the fact that these brands (including Nissan) remain on the list of brands for parallel imports after the new rules came into force on April 1. That is, these cars will still be able to be imported through the Single Vehicle Valuation Opinion (SOETS), while for «ordinary Chinese» you will have to apply for OTTS, which requires significant expenses — up to 30 million rubles.
