Golf-crossover with the appearance of the third Tiguan
The compact crossover Volkswagen T-Roc turned out to be a very popular model in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region, so a lot of attention was paid to the new generation of the car. The car is already being tested on public roads in Europe, with minimal camouflage. Based on a large number of spy photos, the Carscoops resource compiled a high-quality render of the model and collected all currently known technical details.
T-Roc 2025 borrows design elements from the third generation Volkswagen Tiguan presented last year. The front end receives a continuous LED strip that runs along the leading edge of the hood and connects the headlights. The crossover received a curved hood and an hourglass-shaped radiator grille.
Volkswagen T-Roc 2025 will be built on the latest iteration of the Volkswagen Group family platform MQB — it is currently used in the Volkswagen Golf Mk8.5 and the latest Audi A3. Not surprisingly, the new T-Roc 2025 is credited with a set of powertrains from the Golf Mk8.5: it includes a «mild» a hybrid based on a 1.5-liter engine, a plug-in hybrid and several diesel engines. Drive of basic versions — front, optionally full. Gearboxes — 6-speed manual or 7-speed «robot» with two clutches.
The equipment of the crossover will also correspond to the Golf Mk8.5. For example, the crossover will receive a media system with a 12.9-inch screen and integrated support for ChatGPT, and there will also be wireless charging for a smartphone.
The 2025 T-Roc is believed to be Volkswgaen's last new model with an internal combustion engine.
