Payday 2 will block some music for new customers. Break The Rules, Mr Purple and other OSTs will not be available

Payday 2 has been around for many years and the game has a ton of licensed content and music. Looks like it's about to expire

Payday 2 has been on the market for over 10 years and during this time the Starbreeze team has released an impressive amount of content and music. The developers also used licensed materials, the rights to which are not infinite.

The authors of Payday 2 previously revised the list of achievements – some required killing with a certain licensed weapon, and the updated conditions allow you to get them in other ways (for example, it is not necessary to commit a murder with a specific sniper rifle, but you can take any one).

With the music of Payday 2, everything is more complicated. After a certain date, some tracks will not be available to new players, list of those affected:

  • White Collar Crime
  • < li>Bullet Rain

  • Locke And Load
  • Drop Zone
  • Still Breathing
  • Do You Wanna
  • Take Me Down
  • I Need Your Love
  • Break The Rules

< p>Two tracks will only be available for accounts that were created and purchased the game before March 31, 2024:

  • Mr Purple
  • Troubles Always Inbound

At the same time, Starbreeze notes that all of the above tracks Payday 2 will continue to be available through The Official Soundtrack (official soundtrack; music DLC included).
