Renders based on spy shots

German brand Audi is electrifying its lineup ahead of the transition to all-electric vehicles in 2026. However, several more models with internal combustion engines are still in development.

The brand plans to use odd numbers for these internal combustion engine models, that is, A7 — this is what used to be released under the name A6. Recent spy shots allowed motor1 to create exclusive renderings of the new product.

A7 Avant will have a wider Singleframe grille with horizontal chrome slats, as well as slim LED headlights and large air intakes at the corners of the bumper.

The new Audi station wagon will receive wide wheel arches and retractable door handles, which improve the aerodynamics of the car. The rear is equipped with an LED strip that spans the entire width of the body.

The A6 and A6 Avant currently offer petrol, diesel and plug-in hybrid powertrains, depending on the market. It is reported that the A7 sedan and its station wagon counterpart will receive new power units «mild hybrid» and PHEV.

Audi is expected to introduce the A7 sedan first, followed by the Avant wagon.
