The team of the largest Russian online trading platform Wildberries began testing a new tool for sellers. Now it will be possible to significantly simplify the preparation of product descriptions in cards by calling on neural networks for help.
The press service noted that such descriptions generated by neural networks will help increase the rating of the card and the position of the product in the search results, since they fully comply with the rules of the site. The company explained:
The new service will allow you to create a detailed and concise description of the characteristics of the product just by its name.
At the testing stage, generation of descriptions using neural networks is available to a small group of sellers. Subsequently, a large-scale launch is planned for all sellers. In future updates it is also planned to add variations in text composition for seller requests.
