Dark Messiah of Might and Magic offered a number of interesting ideas and the game is still remembered today. However, it is difficult to expect similar projects from modern Ubisoft. Enthusiasts are trying to update the classics and have attracted the attention of NVIDIA

Dark Messiah of Might and Magic will soon be 20 years old. Years ago, Arkane Studios unveiled a “Next Generation Action-RPG” powered by Valve’s Source engine, offering a fresh take on the Might & Magic. The project will be remembered fondly in 2024.

NVIDIA introduced RTX Remix tools, allowing enthusiasts to easily create “fan remasters” – they decided to use them to work on updating Dark Messiah of Might and Magic.

The wiltOS Technologies team is currently working on this; they recently presented a teaser trailer for the RTX remaster.

Original Dark Messiah of Might & Magic is still sold on PC on Steam, but publisher Ubisoft, i.e. The game is not officially sold in Russia. Reviews about the game are very positive – the rating in the Valve service is more than 90% after 9+ thousand reviews.
