The Nubia Z60 Ultra smartphone will boast not only an unusual design, a good set of cameras, a screen without cutouts and a huge battery. The company reported that this same battery will have a silicon-carbon anode.
This solution allows you to significantly increase the energy density of the battery. At the same time, Nubia will not be the first in this field, since Honor used one in the Chinese version of Magic5 Pro. It’s worth saying here that such solutions are usually called silicon-carbon batteries, without specifying the anode.
Apparently, it was the use of a silicon-carbon anode that allowed Nubia to fit a 6000 mAh battery into its smartphone without making the device too thick.
