The head of the Federal Air Transport Agency Dmitry Yadrov said that new Russian aircraft could be certified within 2025.
«As part of the ongoing activities for certification of aviation equipment, we clearly observe that from the end of 2025, aircraft deliveries will already be carried out for our airlines», — he said at the Coordination Center of the Government of the Russian Federation at the exhibition «Russia».
The head of the Federal Air Transport Agency added that one of the orders for 339 aircraft was made by the airline Aeroflot.
At the end of last year, the MS-21 aircraft, based on test results, received a certificate from the Federal Air Transport Agency, which allows it to transport 211 people. The tests included the evacuation of passengers and crew from an aircraft with the most dense cabin layout.
In the fall, UAC announced its intentions to produce 270 MS-21 aircraft, as well as 142 SJ-100, 115 Tu-214 and 70 Il-114 aircraft by 2030.
