Neta S station wagon on Shanhai Platform 2.0 presented

The Neta S station wagon has been presented, photographs and characteristics of which were published by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China.

The station wagon, which will be available in both electric and extended-range hybrid versions, is built on the new Shanhai Platform 2.0 from Neta.

The car has a length of 4980 mm and a wheelbase of 2980 mm. The width and height are 1980 and 1480 mm respectively. The hybrid received a 1.5-liter engine with a power of 70 kW. This is a new 1.5-liter Atkinson engine, paired with an electric generator. The conversion rate is reported to be 3.26 kW•h/l. The electric motor has a power of 200 kW and transmits torque to the rear axle.

Fully electric versions weigh 1960 and 2160 kg, the all-wheel drive version is heavier. Both use the same 200 kW electric motor as the EREV version, while the dual-motor model adds a 170 kW motor on the front axle.

Battery capacity is not yet known, but lower-spec EREV and EV versions are equipped with lithium iron phosphate batteries, and higher-spec versions are equipped with nickel-metal hydride batteries.
