Leading Russian insurance companies have preliminarily estimated the cost of compulsory motor liability insurance and comprehensive insurance policies for the new AvtoVAZ Lada Iskra crossover. Production of the model should start in February 2025.
According to calculations by Sovcombank Insurance, a compulsory motor liability insurance policy for Iskra with a basic 90-horsepower engine for a 25-year-old driver with 5 years of experience will cost 8276-9695 rubles, depending on the region of registration. Casco without a franchise is tentatively estimated at 42-44 thousand rubles, with a franchise of 10 thousand – 35-38 thousand rubles.
In the insurance company «Ingosstrakh» for a 30-year-old driver with 10 years of experience, compulsory motor liability insurance for a Lada Iskra was estimated at 16,930 rubles. The approximate cost of comprehensive insurance for the same owner will be 32.5 thousand rubles.
Experts IC «Consent» gave a wider price range for compulsory motor liability insurance depending on engine power. So, the basic Iskra with 90 hp. will cost an owner from Moscow at the age of 30 13,265 rubles, and the top version with a 106-horsepower unit will cost 14,471 rubles. Casco for AvtoVAZ's new car was previously estimated at 42.7 thousand rubles or 2.81% of the expected cost of the car.
Thus, experts agree that compulsory motor liability insurance for a Lada Iskra will be about 10-17 thousand rubles, and comprehensive insurance will cost about 35-45 thousand rubles, depending on the region, age and experience of the driver, as well as the configuration of the machine.
