Meta*'s Ray-Ban smart glasses now feature the ability to post photos directly to Instagram

Meta* announced an update to its Ray-Ban smart glasses, which now feature hands-free calling. Thanks to this, users will be able to post photos directly to Instagram without taking out their phone.

To do this, just say: «Hey Meta, share my latest photo on Instagram» or «Hey Meta, post a photo on Instagram». The glasses are also integrated with Amazon Music and the meditation app Calm. Users can play music and access Calm content using voice commands.

In addition, the company is expanding its line of affordable Ray-Ban smart glasses in 15 countries, including the US, Canada, Australia and parts of Europe. New models include the Skyler in Shiny Chalky Gray with gradient pink lenses, the Skyler in black with Transitions Cerulean Blue lenses, and the Low Bridge Fit in black with G15 polar lenses.

The launch of new features follows a recent update that added artificial intelligence capabilities to smart glasses. Users can now ask questions about their surroundings, and the glasses use the built-in camera and Meta AI technologies to provide answers.
