There is a version with 16/512 GB of memory
Many single-board PCs have either few or no classic connectors soldered at all. For example, like LattePanda Mu based on Intel CPU. But Radxa NIO 12L has such connectors. Moreover, there are many more of them than many modern laptops.
The board has four USB 3.0, two HDMI, one of which is an input, RJ45, a slot for microSD and even two USB-C. There is also MIPI-DSI,MIPI-CSI and 40-pin GPIO.
The heart of the board is the SoC MediaTek Genio 1200. This is a platform with four Cortex-A78 cores, four Cortex-A55 cores, Mali-G57 GPU and a good set of interfaces. PC dimensions — 140 x 75 mm.
In addition, a single board PC has 4 to 16 GB of RAM and 64 to 512 GB of flash memory. Prices vary from 100 to 180 dollars.
The starting price is also for a board with Yocto or Android pre-installed. You can choose Ubuntu 22.04 LTS pre-installed, but it will cost $25 more. Presumably because Radxa partners with Ubuntu on certification, security, and long-term support. In this case, the Ubuntu model comes with 10 years of support via updates.
