KamAZ is automating production even more. The plant will purchase 60 robots from Kazan “Eidos Robotics”

And this despite the fact that KamAZ is already a leader in robotization of industrial enterprises in Russia

Corporate publication «KAMAZ News» announced the purchase of 60 industrial robots from the Kazan enterprise «Eidos Robotics». The machines will be used for welding parts of platforms, sides, frame cross members, and brackets. Kazan robots will also be involved in applying sealants and loading machines.

Previously, KamAZ General Director Sergei Kogogin said that the plant is the leader in robotization of industrial enterprises in Russia: there are 60 robots per 10 thousand workers, compared to 7 robots in the country on average. The purchase of another 60 robots will only strengthen KamAZ’s leadership in terms of robotization of production.
