At Tesla's last shareholder meeting in 2024, Elon Musk said that Tesla should release special versions of the Cybertruck that will meet Chinese and EU standards.
Musk said that the “special edition” models released for the aforementioned regions may lose some features and are not a “top priority” for the company today. Musk added: “Wherever the Cybertruck goes, it will be incredibly popular.”
