The automobile brand Jaecoo, which is backed by the Chinese Chery, announced its plans to release new models on the Russian market. According to the press service, three new products are planned to be released in 2024.
In the first quarter of 2024, the flagship crossover Jaecoo J8 will go on sale. According to the manufacturer, it is distinguished by a proprietary all-wheel drive system, a high level of comfort and safety, as well as advanced technical solutions. The Jaecoo J8 received a productive, but at the same time economical, two-liter turbocharged engine with a capacity of 249 hp. s., as well as an adaptive CDC suspension, providing good handling and smooth ride.
Premium materials are used in the interior, including nappa leather. The multimedia and entertainment complex is equipped with an interactive curved screen with a diagonal of 24.6 inches. Interior lighting supports 256 shades.
The other two new products will be plug-in hybrids (PHEVs), built on the basis of the J7 and J8 crossovers. The Jaecoo J7 PHEV is expected to be released in the second quarter of 2024, and the flagship crossover Jaecoo J8 in a hybrid version will appear on the Russian market by the third quarter.
