They cost 250 dollars
In addition to the chest heart rate monitor, which is attached to sports bras, Garmin has introduced another women's product. This is a Garmin Lily 2 smartwatch.
In this case, of course, there are no technical restrictions, and men can wear such watches. But the design is clearly feminine, and Garmin itself speaks directly about positioning.
Lily 2 — This is not only a smart watch, but also a fashion accessory. At least that’s how the manufacturer presents the new product. And in this case it is played out quite unusually. In addition to the design itself, it is worth highlighting the highlight of the watch in the form of a hidden screen. Mechanically, it is not hidden anywhere, but it is implemented in such a way that in the inactive state it seems as if there is no display at all.
The whole point is that a monochrome transparent screen is used here, under which a drawing is applied to the body, which is why the feeling of the absence of the screen is created when it is inactive.
The screen here, by the way, has a diameter of 1 inch and a resolution of 240 x 201 pixels. The autonomy of the watch, given the limited capabilities and screen, is not the most impressive and amounts to five days.
Technically, there are all the functions familiar to such devices, including a heart rate sensor, tracking activity, sleep, workouts, displaying notifications from a smartphone, and so on.
The new item costs $250 and is available in several design options.
