At the end of November, AvtoVAZ officially announced that Lada Vesta, Granta and Niva Legend will begin to be painted in new colors – «Platinum» and «Borneo». Two weeks have passed since this statement, several dozen cars have been produced in new colors, but cars have not begun to be painted en masse with new enamels. «AvtoVAZ worked on Saturday, December 9th. In 12 hours, 640 Granta cars in sedan and liftback bodies, painted in white, black and silver enamel, rolled off the assembly line. From "Borneo" tension again: there were only a few cars over the past week. The assembly line of the Niva family produced about 210 cars of each model (Travel and Legend) in 9 hours. Vesta and Niva Legend cars have not yet received the promised metallic enamel paint, several trial ones do not count– insiders reported.
