A new iPhone is purchased for an average of 62,400 rubles
The team of the popular private classifieds service «Avito» shared some interesting statistics. Based on the results of the first quarter of 2024, «Avito» 31% more new mobile phones were sold than in January — March last year. At the same time, sales of used gadgets remained at the level of the first quarter of last year and the previous quarter of 2023.
The average price of a new gadget on «Avito» in the first quarter of 2024 amounted to 50,400 rubles, used devices — 22,200 rubles. It has become more profitable to buy new smartphones than in October — December 2023, — the cost of devices on the platform decreased by 5%. Over the same period, the average price of used phones increased slightly — by 3%.
Share of new device sales by brand: Apple — 64%, Samsung — 11%, Xiaomi — 10%, Realme — 3%, Infinix — 2%. After strong sales growth last year, Infinix displaced Honor from 5th place.
New iPhone on «Avito» purchased on average for 62,400 rubles, Samsung — for 50,600 rubles, Xiaomi — for 23,800 rubles. Gadgets of these brands «from hand» will cost on average 29,200 rubles, 15,900 rubles and 8,500 rubles, respectively.
