Intel will offer customers virtually the same mobile processors for two years? Arrow Lake-HX may be released only at the beginning of 2025

AMD Strix Halo may also move to 2025

Perhaps some Intel processors that we expected this year will not be released until next year.

According to insider Golden Pig Upgrade, there will be no new high-performance Core-HX CPUs this year. We are talking about the Arrow Lake generation, which should be released at the end of this year. However, this applies to desktop CPUs, and mobile ones will apparently be delayed until early 2025.

If the information is correct, it turns out that the Raptor Lake Refresh-HX processor will be relevant throughout 2024, which are actually only slightly accelerated Raptor Lake-HX, which, in turn, came out at the beginning of 2023. That is, for two years Intel will not offer anything new in the specified segment.

The WCCF Tech resource also says that we are talking about new AMD CPUs, although it is not clear where this comes from. But in the case of AMD, we are talking about Strix Halo processors with a very powerful GPU. Let us remember that these APUs are credited with a graphics core with 2560 stream processors. This is more than the Radeon RX 7600/7600 XT.

The Golden Pig Upgrade Pack insider once shared performance leaks of Intel CPUs of different generations and published Intel slides describing the Meteor Lake CPU.
