Intel recently announced that it is literally betting everything on the 14A process technology, which should be ready by 2026. Now the company has revealed some details about this technical process.
Compared to the Intel 18A, the new process technology will bring a 15% increase in performance per watt, and the improved version of Intel 14A-E will add another 5%. Intel 14A will be the company's first process technology to use High-NA EUV technology.
There is no data yet on which Intel processors will be the first to switch to the 14A process technology, but Intel emphasized that this process technology is important to it, including for its goal of becoming the second semiconductor manufacturer in the world.
