From August 9 at the cinema
Lionsgate showed a trailer for the film adaptation of the famous game series Borderlands, in which we will be told the story of the criminal Lilith (Cate Blanchett) from the planet Pandora. She returns to her home world in search of a legendary vault rumored to be filled with priceless treasures.
Lilith knows that the best way to find the vault — go hunting with your team. Lilith has little in common with the mercenary Roland (Kevin Hart), Dr. Patricia Tannis (Jamie Lee Curtis), the crazy Tiny Tina (Ariana Greenblatt), the big guy Krieg (Florian Munteanu) and the robot voiced by Jack Black.
The video confirms that the filmmakers came pretty close to the signature graphic style of the Borderlands games.
Borderlands hits theaters August 9th.
