AvtoVAZ earns much more on the Lada Vesta
The Motor.ru resource found out how much AvtoVAZ earns on each Lada Granta sold. It turned out to be quite a bit: only about 35 thousand rubles. The head of the Volzhsky Automobile Plant, Maxim Sokolov, spoke about this.
According to the head of the company, the marginality of each car is reflected in costs, and there are three important aspects. The first — large credit burden: AvtoVAZ owes creditors 120 billion rubles, interest — 20 billion rubles per year. The second aspect — increased exchange rates, which directly affect the cost of many components. In the forecast for 2023, the Russian authorities included an exchange rate of 68 rubles per euro, in fact the rate — almost 100 rubles. Finally, the third aspect — logistics, the costs of which have increased significantly in 2023: if at the beginning of the year, delivering a car to the dealership cost 13 thousand rubles, now it costs 35-40 thousand rubles.
But AvtoVAZ earns more on the Lada Vesta. If we take into account the most expensive Vesta Sportline, then it turns out to be about 110 thousand rubles.
Recall that earlier the head of AvtoVAZ, Maxim Sokolov, said that in 2023, the company’s cars increased in price by 11% on average.
