The head of the Russian office of the Tank brand, Alexander Chekhovsky, announced the appearance in Russia of new versions of the Tank 300 and Tank 500 in 2024. They will help diversify the line somewhat.
«We believe that the history of a car is made original by exclusive performances. Therefore, starting next year we will release thematic special versions — for both Tank 300 and Tank 500», & ;mdash; said Alexander Chekhovsky. He did not name specific versions, but the resource «Chinese cars» gave the most likely options (besides, there are not so many special versions of the Tank 300 and Tank 500 in China).
As for the Tank 300, it is extremely likely that a Cyber Knight version will appear in Russia: such vehicles have already been sold here, but unofficially. And the Tank 300 Iron Cavalry may also come to Russia: if the «cyber knight» «sports» body kit, then the Iron Cavalry is well prepared for off-road — it has widened arches, a different (simpler) front bumper, an expeditionary roof rack and a snorkel, due to which the fording depth increases to 90 cm.
Tank 500 in China has two «black» series: Black Warrior and Darth Vader. They are distinguished by a black interior design with «thematic» inserts and exterior with anti-chrome body, darkened rims and red brake calipers.
The third version of Tank 500 in China — This is the Custom Edition. There is a two-tone Bentley-style body, more expensive interior materials, exclusive 20-inch wheels, an adjustable suspension and additional intelligent options such as the owner’s face recognition function.
As for new models, in 2024 the Tank 400 and the hybrid Tank 500, which is in great demand in China, are likely to appear in Russia.
As for 2023, dealers are now selling Tank 500 with deep discounts, and the brand itself has entered the top 10 on the Russian market: expensive Tank SUVs are selling better than Muscovites.
