Sales of the flagship line have started in China
As we already wrote, the latest flagship smartphones Honor Magic6 Pro and Magic6 were presented on January 11, at which time pre-orders became available in China. On the evening of January 17, the devices went on sale in the Chinese market, and today Honor reported on the Weibo social network about the first results.
According to the manufacturer, the flagship line turned out to be very popular. In the first 2 minutes 35 seconds of sales, Honor Magic6 Pro and Magic6 were sold for more than 660 million yuan (about $104 million). This result exceeded the record of the Honor Magic5 models, which went on sale in March last year.
The simpler model of the Honor Magic6 series starts at 4399 yuan (about $710), while the flagship Honor Magic6 Pro starts at 5699 yuan (about $805). Both smartphones received SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, curved flicker-free OLED screens (only the younger model has a slightly smaller display), up to 16 GB of RAM and a 50-megapixel camera with OIS. The older model also has a periscope module and support for satellite communications.
