Mostly complain about the 11-inch version
The new iPad Pro is a first for Apple tablets to feature OLED screens, which replace Mini-LED panels. However, the new screens seem to have some drawbacks. Some of the first users write that they see a certain graininess in the displays of the new iPad.
Not everyone sees this graininess. Perhaps this is a matter of specific copies, since photographs of such tablets actually show grainy screens, so these are not perceptual features.
Those who see grain note that it is most noticeable in the dark, when the display brightness is set to low or medium, when viewing content in gray or muted colors. Some compare the effect to a photo taken at a high ISO and having visual noise.
iPad owners are waiting longer to replace their tablets due to lack of innovation in iPadOS
So far, most of the complaints are about the smaller 11-inch model, but there are also cases with the 13-inch.
We can only wait for Apple's reaction, if there is one, or at least the first calls from owners of such iPads to service centers.
