Release dates are still unknown
XboxEra co-founders Nick Baker and John Clark said that a remake of the first Uncharted game is in development. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune 2007 — for PS5.
Baker and Clark also stated that they received information about the remake independently, and also saw «evidence» indicating its veracity. Baker added that the information in question does not confirm that the remake is being created by series developer Naughty Dog or Bluepoint Games (creators of 2015's Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection).
Naughty Dog co-founder Neil Druckmann said last year that the studio was «done» with Uncharted, although shortly thereafter Naughty Dog announced that it was recruiting to «create future teams not only for new games, but also for the legacy of Uncharted».
Leaks claim that a new Uncharted game is being developed by a new studio. This may be a studio that was founded in San Diego in partnership with PlayStation Studios Visual Arts. Job listings for 2022 stated that the studio «together with Naughty Dog is developing an exciting new project based on the beloved franchise».
Nick Baker is often the first to name games coming to Xbox Game Pass or PS Plus.
