Google stops selling Pixel 6a

Pixel 8a announcement coming soon

Google has removed the Pixel 6a smartphone, which debuted in 2022, from the assortment of its online store. The model has disappeared from all regional Google Stores, including American, British, European and Asian websites. There's not even an official protective case for the Pixel 6a anymore.

Typing the old Pixel 6a URL will redirect the user to a page with the newer Pixel 7a. However, the Pixel 6a can still be found at third-party retailers, including Amazon.

It is not officially known why Google stopped selling the Pixel 6a, although the answer seems obvious. Apparently, the tech giant is cleaning up the mess to make way for the Pixel 8a, which is rumored to hit the market soon.
