To do this, you just need to install a “special editor application” on your smartphone

Fraudsters have come up with a new scheme to deceive bank clients, which is aimed primarily at people with high incomes. This was reported by SafeTech — Russian developer of solutions for protecting remote banking and electronic document management systems. The scheme consists of criminals calling wealthy bank clients, posing as Wikipedia administrators, and asking them to edit their biography in the online encyclopedia.

According to scammers, your biography can be corrected using a special application. But in fact, such a program can give access to control the victim’s smartphone or simply install a banking Trojan on the mobile device that will intercept codes from SMS and push messages. This will also allow you to withdraw money from the victim's bank account.
